The fact that our President is going around calling countries this is a huge problem.  The fact that it's even mentioned as a possibility, and nobody even thinks it's out of the realm of the expected, is a problem.

I am never going to understand the defense of Trump being "Well at least he tells us the things that are on his mind!"  Folks, the things on his mind are unsubstantiated claims, narcissism, and a general lack of understanding of the office he now holds.  This is not a positive.  This should be an alarm.  He doesn't even have enough self-awareness to think "Hm.  Best not say that thing because it's probably going to cause an issue."

I know some of you think it's good that he doesn't care if he causes issues.  But this is a man whose words can start wars and riots and affect the stock market and the global economy.  HE SHOULD CARE.

The guy is unfit for the office he holds, to the nth degree.  I have no idea how people continue to defend him.

It's true in ever country. That doesn't make all countries equal. This is proven if I were to ask you which countries you would want to move to. I guarantee you'd never name those countries Trump called a [BLEEP]. This idea that because it happens here too, so we don't have a right to comment on it is ludicrous. Those things are out of control in Haiti. In no way whatsoever do the problems in Haiti compare to America. I don't know why you're even comparing it.

How is it a problem? Because it isn't politically correct? You said it was a problem, so how is it one? Are we going to lose aid from Haiti or west Africa? Are their horrible leaders going to start wars because we don't like their country? No one cared when Obama called Lybia a [BLEEP] show.

You just made an unsubstantiated claim. What part of this argument is unsubstantiated? Are we now talking about something else or are we still talking about this? If this isn't unsubstantiated then why is it a problem? If this is unsubstantiated then you should be able to show why that is. 

Those words you think "can start wars" has helped motivate North Korea to negotiate with South Korea. Ask the South Korean President who thinks he deserves credit for pushing North Korea into talks. Meanwhile, the media and people like you, were going around telling people those words "can start wars". Had Trump ever threatened a country that didn't already threaten the United States? You guys are sensationalists. As for riots, who cares? We see people riot over things that literally never happened. As for the stock market... well... I'd imagine he's doing OK there.

For all of you who are defending this comment of his, would any of you deny that it was a really dumb thing to say?

It was dumb if there's a chance it hits public hears (obviously it has), but like someone else said, this was a closed-door meeting. I imagine things like this are said all the time. Yes, it's not a smart thing to say. It doesn't, however, make it racist.
