So Andrew Luck is just above-average

Even if Luck turns out to be a Peyton Manning level QB, does it even matter? In our efforts to win the division, we had one year of Mark Brunnel, and followed that with the likes of Byron Leftwich, David Garrard, Blaine Gabbert, and Chad Henne. This is why we haven't won the division. In fact, how many playoff caliber quarterbacks did Manning play against his entire time competing in the AFC south? Luck is irrelevant. Say luck ends up just being average and we get into the playoffs because of the lack of competition in the division. Guess what? We're not winning in the playoffs because of the lack of competition.
