That being said, Jags have a great defense and an "ok" offense (Fournette, mostly) but are a solid team all around. The offense feeds off of your amazing defense with its explosiveness, especially when they account for alot of the TDs your team scored this year. That's what Bortles needs because he doesn't score much on his own, with his arm. This game will be a good one, great offense versus a great defense mostly. People keep selling the Pats defense short, they've held teams to the least amount of points the last couple months, and that constitutes a good defense to me.

Most of my point wasn't necessarily X's and O's in terms of Coughlin and the Pats.  Coughlin brings more from an attitude, preparation, etc.  He helped change the attitude around this team and that can't be discounted.  He's been in these situations before too.  Don't get me wrong, I think this is Marrone's team and he will be the one making the decisions this week but the year long influence of Tom Coughlin can't be ignored either.

This game is going to be tougher than most think.  The Jags have no chance of winning this game easy but they have an us vs the world mentality combined with young, hungry talent that can be dangerous against anyone.  When the Jaguars defense is on it's game this team CAN beat the Patriots and anyone else in front of them.

Your OL better be ready for relentless pressure.  Pitt did a good job of containing them last week for most of the game but these boys are going to have an even larger chip on their shoulder than normal.

One key that I think we will have trouble with is running the ball and that's going to have to happen.  Your run defense is stout and we will ride the run game/play action game hard.

I live in a part of the country where I don't get to see many Patriot games though I have great respect for the GOAT and Bill Belichick.

How does your defense do against play action?  That seems to be what Bortles thrives with but it also is reliant on getting the run game going which won't be easy against your defense.

How does your defense do against mobile QBs?  Bortles is deceptively mobile for a QB of his size and he can extend drives (we've seen it in both post season games this year too) with his legs when he has to.

Here's to a hard hitting game with hopefully no injuries on either side.

Agreed, this game will be a good one. But the last time we faced Coughlin, we beat him at home. 

As far as our defense dealing with running QBs, see last week's game. Honestly, I think Mariotta is better than Bortles in almost every faucet of the game. We sacked him 8 times. Steelers have a better OL but our o-line has shaped up a lot and is playing better at the right time (See this every year). Brady is the best at nullifying pass rushing teams, the BEST. Sure, there will be QB pressures and plays where he goes down, your front 4 is pretty good but Brady has seen these types of defenses forever. 

As you mentioned, our run defenses is much better than the Steeler's is so shutting down the run and forcing Bortles to make plays with his arm would be our best bet to me. If Brady scores early and often, it would be tough. On the other side, if we are flat and your defensive line can make enough plays to get Brady of his timing, it could be a long night for us as well. The Steelers have all the talent in the world with dumb coaches who were unprepared. Don't expect that will Bill and Brady.
