Never confident?  You would be the first non pompous Pats fan I've come across not talking about the past 18 years and assuming your team will crush the Jaguars just because they haven't done well in the past 10.

BostonBlackie is right. As a Pats fan the only thing I'm confident about is making the playoffs, but on a per game basis I never assume were going to win. Brady is 26-9 in the playoffs, which is great,  but since 2009 he is 12-6. Still great for the playoffs but not something that gives us confidence they will win every playoff game plus the suber bowl each year.
