Well, you have Coughlin now. He has a good football mind, but we all saw the state of the Giants his last year. OBJ was losing his mind on the field and TC had no idea. He's much more valuable where he is. Marrone showed he knew what he was doing when he was with the Bills. Their fans loved him until he left. Then all they did was trash him. Most are still bitter today. Then your GM made some great FA pickups. That's a super formula.

As an outsider, the thing that would worry me is the play of Bortles. I won't get into details, but you know what I'm talking about. We've seen his stats. Do you think he's turned the corner?

If by turned the corner you mean turned into a top of the league QB, then no. He has played much better this season than any of the others in the past. My take is that the Jags are in pretty good position regarding Bortles. A decision about his long term future with the team doesn't have to be made at the end of this season. Basically, the teams gets to evaluate him for one more season. In the meantime, I suspect the position will be addressed, probably through the draft. Personally, I'd like to see Bortles operate the same playbook for two straight years for the first time in his career.
