Not saying this is or isn't true, but you mind linking one of the well documented reports that he was quoted as saying he wanted to stay? I don't recall that. 

 

I personally think it was a mutual decision. The Jags are in roster evaluation and rebuild 2-3 down the road mode, Daryl Smith didn't fit that. Daryl is nearing the end of his career and I'm sure he wanted to play for a contender to finish out his stellar career, and the Jags didn't fit that.

 

Why can't we just be happy that Daryl is playing well and getting the national attention he deserves? I'm happy for Daryl, and I'm happy that Geno Hayes (and hopefully Laroy Reynolds) are getting the experience and evaluation needed to determine if they are fixtures for the future.
