No, they fired Garrard so they could start Luke McCown the first game.  Then Gabbert came in later that season, the rest is history.

What?  The guy is average on a GOOD DAY.  He misses half his throws on most.  The guy deserves some credit for how he played the past two games, but to pretend like he was the main reason for this playoff run is just total nonsense.
