This take here is honestly dumb as hell.  We all know these "reviews" don't change anything about the officiating and they sure as heck don't come back and say "hey Steelers, guess what, that was a TD against the Pats, we're going to give you the Win."

Well, you never heard it was a TD against Pats (vs steelers) because by the letter of the rule, it wasn't. James was not a runner, therefore, crossing the plane of the goal was not all he had to do, as if he had he been a runner. He was in the process of making a catch, and thus, has to survive the ground. By the way, I disagree with that, as he did have possession when the ball crossed the plane. But hey, that's the NFLs call, not mine.

While I tend to think that much of the whining about bad calls and non-calls week in and week out is often much ado about nothing and the majority of it evens out in the wash, you seem to be taking a willfully ignorant approach to the matter. 

Firstly -  The league does not "often publicly indicate" such mistakes and coaches are strongly urged not to publicly discuss the outcome of such filed grievances. 

Second -  brushing off blatant hold calls on key plays like the one pointed out to you is the equivalent of burying one's head in the sand on the matter. 

I still don't blame this Jags' loss on the refs, because there were ways for the Jags to win this anyway and they didn't do it. But you are turning a blind eye as it suits you.

Google "nfl admits wrong call." You will see a lot of public statements admitting incorrect calls.
