I wonder if Colvin would be willing to sign a team friendly deal? Not likely but still....give him something short term but a pay raise. That way he can still get a shot a free agency but stick around for another year or two.

I’m curious on how they approach Arob’s situation. I doubt they tag him. Maybe give him a 1 year deal for 9 mill. That’ll pay him like a top 15 WR and let’s him come back to the negotiating table next year. See how he does coming back from injury.

They could also approach Bortles with a contract similar to Tyrod Taylor. Something that’ll give Bortles long term security but will lessen his cap hit and still have a team out just in case he doesn’t pan out.

Ivory is probably the easiest cut. Followed by Lee (expiring contract). No way you keep Lee with the emergence of Cole and the expected development of Westbrook. Marcedes and Poz will most likely be willing to come back on team friendly short term deals. There’s nothing wrong with having veteran leadership from guys who can still produce.

Henne is most likely a goner, especially if QB competition is brought in. Btw I’m a huge Lamar Jackson fan so I’m hoping he slips in the draft. If you were a fan of Deshawn Watson coming out you will love Jackson.

I would like to bring Omameh back but I’m not sure how much he’s going to demand. I certainly wouldn’t oppose looking to upgrade both guard spots and even look to find a RT to groom to replace Parnell.

A pass catching TE needs to be a priority for this team. Especially if Bortles is in the long term plans. He’s needs a reliable safety net to look for who can get the easy first down, which will decrease his knack for making risky throws.

All in all I like the outlook of this team. Young, feisty, and has loads of talent across the board. We should have a 4 year window minimum to win a Super Bowl. Shore up a few spots and it’s game on.
