It starts with Marrone. He sets the tone. Why do you think BOTH Hackett and Wash were conservative? They has been doing the same thing all year, not even sure why people are surprised by it. It isn't even a learning experience for them, this is their style and it will not change at all. Against good teams they always seem to come back into the game... against seattle, pitt, and NE... arguably the 3 best teams the Jags faced and they all stormed back into the game. Marrone is an offensive line coach who has stated multiple times he would like to run the ball on every play if he could. When they get a lead, that's what they do. It got them to the AFCC, but I don't know if it is sustainable for success. We will see because none of them are going anywhere.
