QBR is a garbage stat.

Teams wouldn't be able to stack the box if they feared the QB. Cousins would allow Fournette to never see 8 or 9 men in the box. Cousins with ARob, Andrews, Fournette, Cole, Westbrook and Hurns would be really good. You would see Kirk back in his 2016 form.

So the Jags had the #1 rushing offense into a 8 or 9 men box all year and with Fournette missing a few games due to injury and not 100% in others? Sounds pretty impressive actually. Interesting that QBR is a garbage stat but it correlates strongly to a QB's success. I simply am not convinced that a QB who up until his year 27 season had more picks than touchdowns is a slam dunk upgrade on our 25 year old QB who was a hair away from a super bowl this year.
