Listen I’m happy for Blake and yes he played well. But remember, we had this same situation with Garrard? Was he terrible? No of course not, but we thought he was The Man after some solid games and handed him the keys and it ended being a decent, but not truly great QB who could carry the team on his back. Do we really want to make the same mistake with Bortles? Just two weeks ago we were bewildered how we won against Buffalo despite Bortles who had multiple bad passes and a very subpar day. We need to bring in competition, I’d say sign a veteran and draft a rookie or two. Then let them all duke it out in training camp
