My off-season plan for maximum success.

Let Bortles go and throw the bag at Kirk. 30 million should do it and we should on paper be the best place he can go to win now. Everyone loves and respects Blake after this year but its just too important a position to relax about. There's our QB spot sorted for the next few years.

Our free agents:
Sign Arob
Sign Omameh to a cheap deal. He's a serviceable starter/quality backup at worst.
Let Colvin go unless he can stay for 5/6 million. (He likely will get 8-10 elsewhere.)
Let Marquise Lee go
Tell Poz he can be depth for the vet minimum if he wants to stay.


Draft

Round 1: Take the best interior player/TE available. Personally would aim for someone like Will Hernandez G (would even trade up a bit) , Frank Ragnow C or tight ends like Mark Andrews/Mike Gesicki/Goedert.

Round 2: Again best interior player/TE available. Guys like Wyatt Teller at guard. Move tight end and all round back like Jaylen Samuels would be perfect for us.

Round 3: Best slot corner/ Lb available. Guys like Jalen Davis, maybe even Darius Philips if we're really lucky. At Lb I really like a versatile stud like one handed Shaq Griffin (his personality fits our team very well).

Round 4: Tackle depth/best talent available/what ever need is left.

Round 6: Upside depth

Round 7: Upside depth (probably wont make team)

Basically you want to come out of there with a starting guard (or two) and a slot corner that can start, a TE , and a LB.


If not appropriately addressed in draft we attack said positions via FA without spending too much. Dunno who will be available but we should definitely use our new found success to try get a few vets on board on the cheap,
