I saw him on TV last night, speaking on that subject, and if that's what you are talking about, then what you say he said is not what he said.  What he actually said was openly speculative, such as, "The Jaguars aren't sure what they'll do, and they will probably look at other options..."   It was absolutely nothing new and not based on any new facts.  He was just speculating about what he thought they would probably do and it was pure vanilla.  Exactly what everyone else has been saying.   The Jags will probably look at their options.

I would also point out, Alex Smith and Cousins are both under contract and if the Jags pursue those two right now, they will be tampering and probably be punished by loss of draft picks.
