I agree he needs to put on some more weight. I thought he did a good job of that from soph to junior year. He looked much thicker. He is the closest thing to Mike Vick and what made Vick so special was his arm and that 4.25 speed. Lamar has an incredible arm and was clocked last year at 4.34.

Here's my thing about Jackson...
In his 2nd season as starter he had more rushing attempts than pass attempts.
In his 3rd season, only 24 more pass attempts than rush attempts.
Completion % has never been over 60.
The college system he played in VS the NFL system he will play in.

And in my opinion all of this adds up to him being a bit of a project. 
We just went through Bortles 4 year first round QB project...
do we really want to select another project type QB in the first round?

If Jackson slips to the bottom of 2, I would select him there.
The only first round QBs I like are Rudolph, Rosen and Mayfield... and I suspect they are all gone by 29.

Agreed. I think he gets tagged and at 16.5 mil (est) it's not a hard decision at all.
Lee walks, Hurns cut or restructure. 
WR corp of
AR15, Westbrook, Cole, and a rookie or cheap veteran (Hurns if he restructures).
That's my ideal scenario.
