I agree that we missed a true #1 WR this season.

I am a little worried that fans are getting a little too comfortable with the success we had and think it is going to repeat pretty easily.
Which is why we need to sign our proven #1 WR. The Jags can not walk into next season with Cole or Westbrook as the #1.

You are entitled to your opinion and me mine. And it is not short sighted, it is looking at the big picture. We need to keep our defense intact as much as possible, our offense will always be junk as long as Bortles is the QB. Hell our running back doesn't even understand to put his hands out to catch a ball. I could care less about A-Rob. All those teams with super star receivers are doing what this next Sunday? That's right, watching the game on T.V. The Patriots prove year after year that you need functional receivers that are able to hold on to the ball. Save the money, get some line help on the offense and solidify our defense.
This is the most short sighted post in a while. I wonder why the Pats have proven success without true #1 WRs.....

There are only 2 teams playing this Sunday but lets not overlook the fact that the Eagles signed Alshon Jeffery and the Pats traded for Cooks. The weekend before showcased Diggs and Thielan. Julio Jones and Antonio Brown. ARob is not AB or Julio and no one ever claimed he was. But he is a very good WR who commands double teams and will greatly improve the passing offense.

The Jags are also watching the game this Sunday from their couch. Maybe they could have used ARob against the Pats.
