Here is an idea. Lets all put madden down and think about the QBs out there. BB5 way better then smith in his 4th year and Sanfran got rid of him now your saying he is great. Why dont we keep the young QB( who took us basically to the SB minus [BLEEP] coaching and refs) and let him continue to grow. If cousins was so good why does Washington not want to pay him? We need to keep BB5 let him develope into a good if not great QB. He has shown improvement this year lets at least give him a second year in the same system and have TC put a boot in hacketts butt and air it out a little more.

and this.. Its crazy to me how they think Alex Smith is the savior. At one point the Chiefs had one of the best defenses in the league and they didn't make it to the AFC championship. Why do people think he will come over here and be the savior.  What has Alex Smith or Kirk Cousins really done for everyone to feel like they would bring this team over the top? I could see if it was someone like Brees or Aaron Rodgers then it would make sense. Right now we are getting the same production from Blake that we would get from Cousins or Smith. Why not just keep Blake and build on the momentum. Blake is still young and has time to get better. 
      We should take a qb in the draft and let Blake cook. If he starts to regress next year then you make a move but it has to be a good move, not just going after an average qb to say we made a change. Look at our last game, we are supposed to be playing in the Super Bowl right now. Blake stepped up on the biggest stage he has played in and did great . Play calling on offense and defense, + the refs are the reasons we lost. (No type of blame can be placed on Blake at all). I wonder if we would have made it to the Super Bowl would everyone still feel the same way. It just seems like when the media portrayed Blake as a terrible qb everyone just jumped on that and road with it, not realizing he has improved and we were winning, what else you want?

Been a Blake fan rooting for him every year. But when you look back at the whole season, our defense took us this far. Many games Blake was being Blake, but to our fortune the defenders could not catch easy interceptions alot for pick 6. Alex Smith on the other hand is the same qb as Blake,,,,, except higher completion%, better turnover ratio by alot, can read defenses better, probably more mobile even at 33. We dont need a Drew Brees or break the bank for a bust in Kirk Cousins. We need a dependable qb to get people out the box that can make throws that the coaches believe in. I'll take Smith all day
