You can't just make up stats. You can't just say "Oh let's add 9 more TDs". Should we then take away all the TD passes he threw inside the 5 and just give them to the running backs?

I'm not looking at his TD passes because overall, they're irrelevant. What you can look at is ball placement and accuracy. 60% this year and that's a career high. That's pretty bad. I'm not saying he can't improve because he's only 25 and certainly can continue to improve but no one knows what this offense would look like with a better QB. Marrone and Hackett seem to play to their teams strengths. QB is not the strength of this team. If they had a better QB who could make all the throws consistently, I would expect the offense to change.
