The good news is there are people who track drops and the numbers are quantifiable.

Jaguars had the 3rd highest drop % in the league at 4.96%.

Kansas City was at 3.50%
New England 3.24%
Washington 3.15%

So yes drops were a factor more than most other teams.

By the way 3 other quarterbacks in the top 5 in terms of drop percentage were Matt Ryan, Derek Carr, and Eli Manning. All of whom were viewed as having down years (particularly in completion %) to which the drops no doubt contributed.
