There was a much better case for bringing in Alex Smith before he was traded to Washington. Now that Cousins is all that’s left teams will be overpaying. Nothing screams sure fire can’t miss upgrade that guarantees a super bowl with Cousins. That is why management will not risk cutting a QB that brought us minutes from a super bowl to bring him in.
