On another’s notes Coughlin played against the guy twice a year. He would know him inside and out, flaws and all. If he decides to go after him then I’ll support it but all indications are that he’s not and that should be a signal to you. Coughlin knows qbs. He’s rolling with Blake and that should give you solace. I know Coughlin left egg on a lot a folks faces after this season lol.

They can sign Cousins AND STILL SIGN YANNICK AND JALEN DOWN THE ROAD.

Or that if Blake takes the leap forward they want/expect then HE'LL GET JUST AS MUCH MONEY AS COUSINS NEXT YEAR. There is no angle from which that argument makes sense.

Not Henne, but I have said that if they are that petrified that a big salary QB is going to cost us our defense later then we should simply sign McCown or Hoyer for 5 million. McCown just had a nice season with worse weapons and oline than the Jags have, and he can hit drags/screens/dump offs plenty easily too.
