Lol y’all don’t get it. Cousins isn’t worth 30 plus. Cousins will get over paid because he will be a free against actually going into unrestricted free agency. Blake will not get that much money unless he actually turns into a top 3 qb. I’m not sure how y’all arent understanding this. Just because he would play out his option doesn’t mean the next contract he gets will him the highest paid qb lol. That’s not how that works. He is on the team and the team would have franchise tags, transition tags they could use to eventually iron out a deal that works for both sides and that slots him in the range he actually is. Stanford really is a top 5 qb so he got paid top 5 money. Cousins is gonna get over paid because he will be a free agent and thats what happens in free agency. That is the difference and when free agency starts you guys will see the ungodly amount he will get and then say to yourself “yeah we were gonna have to lose Ramsey or Yannick to get him”

What Cousins did, no one in their right mind would do.... basket case

He actually called the Redskins bluff and played on the franchise tag 2 times. In that time frame he did nothing lol but he managed to stay healthy and look like a competent qb. Nothing amazing but look like he can the position. Well the Redskins were gonna have to pay him something stupid like 43 million dollars guaranteed for 1 year and then still lose him or make a move now. Cousins played the game and won and will now cash in. That’s is why he is getting 30 million plus. It’s not because he is a top 5 qb he just finessed the redskins.

He will cost more than you think and it most likely won’t work out well for the team that picks him. Remember, free agency is usually a crap shot. We got super luck this year. Y’all think that’s gonna happen again?
