Personally I'd stick with Bortles, bring in a rookie to challenge him and cut Henne. Surely the main focus for us would be improving the O-line...

I keep reading comments such as this. If the Jaguars retain Bortles, at whatever price, he's the starting QB and no rookie will be challenging him. Any rookie would be lucky to get much work at all.

I believe people are referring to keeping Bortles under his current contract, which only has 1 year left and drafting a QB to possibly replace him by 2019. I didn't take it as signing Bortles long term.
