The overall numbers might not change much, but they might opt for some of the money to be in the form of incentives. I recall once when Fred Taylor re-upped that the team game him active roster bonuses where a portion of the money was earned each week... 1/16th of the total incentive for each game he was active for.

As for a number, Spotrac is saying $6.4 mil per.


That's their estimate based on a few factors (for instance, they have him ranked top 20... not top 5), but it could easily be more. The top Guards are getting $9 to $10 mil per. 

That 6 number wouldn't be that bad. I'd be all for it; hoping that he could stay healthy. Was he on the Giants championship team? If so, could bring some needed leadership and experience on the offensive side of the ball.
