I am inclined to agree with you.

Suppose we sign Bradford.

Initially, there is the risk of dividing the team if Bortles starts slowly.

On top of that, suppose Bortles struggles, you put Bradford in, he gets hurt like he always does, and then you have to put Bortles back in.

On the other hand, is the risk mitigated at all by the predominantly run nature of the offense?

For the reord, I think if we make sure he has some receiving weapons, Bortles can thrive here.
