I think we all beleive he has more potential to be better. The issue is he has only one good year where each of those players have produced on a consistent level yearly. Being available is being factored into this decision. 2014 he missed six games and is recovering from an ACL just six months ago. He gambled and lost but doesn’t want to take the teams offer after the fact. That is what’s going on 

He SHOULD be able to get 16 a year but his body of work doesn’t warrant that. We won’t be the team that gets duped.
