I would have liked to see him retained, but in reality he will never be worth $15 million.  If he is the primary receiving target your offense will regress and he won't be worth it.  If you pair him with a high reception partner, then is 70 catches per year worth $15 million?  Probably not.

It sucks that he was the only pass catcher on the roster that should be starting games in the NFL.  Blake needs a lot of help.

Let’s not discount the improvement of two rookies. Players make their biggest just from rookies to their 2nd year. The Westbrook and Cole you saw last year could look completely different come week one.

I hope so. They both looked good in flashes last year. At this point in time, however, they haven't shown themselves to be starting NFL receivers. They look like solid depth guys that can make a handful of impact plays throughout the year.

We still haven't found a top 10 wide receiver that can take over a game since Jimmy Smith. We had a cup of tea with Justin Blackmon who was that type of player. Allen Robinson, even in 2015, was never that kind of player. He has had maybe one game in his career where he dominated.
