TheO-LineMatters 7 round mock draft (2nd attempt)

#9

In this mock I would go:
Rd. 1: Dallas Goedert/Isiah Wynn/Mike Gesicki/Frank Ragnow/Ronnie Harrison/Lamar Jackson
Rd. 2: Hayden Hurst/Shaq Griffin/Braden Smith/Chukwuma Okorofar/Dorance Armstrong/Mark Andrews
Rd. 3: Luke Falk/Joey Jewell/Michael Gallup/Deadrin Senat
Rd. 4: Kalen Ballage/Kyzir White
The rest irdk about so I won't argue you on those

I think he would be worked in gradually as the X receiver. That is something we are obviously missing for this lineup. He may not start right away, as WR's rarely make an impact their rookie season, especially with the emphasis on the running game, but I truly believe he would be the perfect compliment to Cole and Westbrook, giving us the most dynamic young WR trio in the NFL. He would make Lee expendable, which is what I thought he was already. Lee's skill set or lack thereof, just makes him an odd fit for this offense. I have no idea why he was re-signed to begin with.

Personally, I see no TE worthy of a first round pick and Wynn is a natural LG/LT. I believe we will be looking for a natural RG/RT. I believe Billy Price would be an option before Ragnow. In fact, I almost made Price the selection. Harrison is more of a Strong Safety IMO and if we took a Safety, I believe we'd go with a true Free Safety. I am no fan at all of Jackson. He is a skinny, project QB who relies too much on his running. I believe he is a bad fit for this offense and may never develop as a passer. On top of that, he is an unfinished product who should have stayed in school. Coughlin doesn't like early entries at the QB position. I believe he is targeting a Senior at the QB spot.
