I think the issue is you are taking this too personal and based on your moral objectivity. You may also be assuming the man "cheats" and the relationship isn't an open one. Look, I don't care how they want to live, nor do I care how you live. Who are we to say what is right or wrong? My moral and ethical beliefs have no bearing on you, the President or anyone else; vice versa. Honestly, I'm reasonably certain performance in the sack and with whom and at what time really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things...to most.

I agree with almost everything you said.

However if Trump came out and said "Melania and I have an open marriage. We are both open to other partners." there would be so much backlash not only from Trumps haters but also from a ton of conservatives that voted for him.

I don't care what Trump does because tons of powerful men across this country cheat on their spouses. Athletes, actors, and men of office have clearly all done it. Mine and yours moral beliefs don't matter but the presidents do. It's how he earned millions of votes.
