He is very willing to spend a ton of money on material objects like stadium upgrades and new uniforms, etc., some stuff that has somewhat of a guaranteed return like increased merchandise, food/beverage sales.

 

I wonder if the concept of spending millions for one person, either a high-profile player or a coach, is still foreign to him and his people.  That's probably far fetched.
