He decided not to run because he wanted to prove the point that he is a QB. Misguided perhaps but that's why he hasn't run.

Decided not to get an agent is a really bad idea for the simple reason that the draft cycle is a brutal process that requires you to tick hundreds of boxes for teams along the way. Agents organise all of that ,portray you well in the media and set you up with teams. The less boxes you tick the harder it is to be drafted high. Given Lamar already had questions (whether valid or not) it makes no sense that he'd go this route.


Look at Josh Allen this draft season. He signed with a big agency and has done tremendous in all the pre draft stuff and cemented him as a first round guy.
