You do realize what that can do to a person right? Guys like AP and Wes Welker don't come along often when it comes to injury recovery. Look at what it did with RG3. He went from being a phenom his rookie year to being benched by the end of his second year. Having a torn ACL is probably the worst thing that can happen to a player right before the draft or at any time during their career. There's a reason why that injury used to end careers.

 

I was pointing out he does not need "a leg transplant" because only one ligament tore, not all four. Of course I know what happened to Robert Griffin. The Redskins were  unwilling to put a player they paid three first round draft picks for on the PUP list when he should have been there, so he was rushed back to action way too soon. Also, it was initially treated as nothing serious and he was allowed to play with the injury before the LCL tear was diagnosed. That usually does not happen when knee ligaments are torn.

 

The worst thing that can happen to a player is permanent quadriplegia. A torn knee ligament is nothing compared to that.
