I would be ok trading up to get one of the true top-tier QBs, but not for Rudolph.

If he falls to 29 then maybe, but as someone else has pointed out, he’d probably be a lateral move from Blake, with the same flaws (and zero NFL experience).

If Rudolph is there in the third round (he won’t be) then he’d be worth considering as a project.

But for a team looking to win in a short window it would be staggering if we weakened our defense through trading Fowler and passed on more immediate needs in the first round to draft Rudolph.

And really, aside from the QBs, I don’t see anyone else we’d be desperate to trade up for.

Unless Nelson falls further than expected.

A trade down on the other hand...
