It's a rather convincing theory watching the tape from 2016. Put on the Raiders game and tell me his arm isn't wore out already.

Simply put, roughly from week 7 through maybe week 13, he could hardly throw. Week 14 he had a game against the Vikings where it finally looked like he was back on track. 

I hear ya. 
We just have different perspectives on this whole arm fatigue thing with our boy Skeeter. 

Every year for three years you've pointed to moments when you estimated his arm was "done."  And you may be on to something, but I just see it a little differently. 

In 2014-16 there the dude simply didn't use his lower body on 70% of his throws. He tried to do it all with arm. He didn't step into throws and open his hips toward target on release. And when he did - it was clunky and ill-timed. 
Of course he got tired. He was throwing with a ridiculously inefficient motion. 

In 2017 he did less of this and his conditioning was better. Maybe he still had some fatigue here and there from lapses in technique and just being an NFL player in the grind of a season, but I didn't really see any blatant signs of his arm giving out on him. Seemed like there were just weeks when he threw the ball better than other weeks. 

The wrist and fatigue could have played a role, but it didn't seem that way to me. 

I hope the surgery and another couple weeks in CA with House and company have him leveling up in September.
