2019 Impact on 2018 Draft?

With current 2019 contract commitments on the books, the Jags have a reported league worst $16-18m over the projected 2019 cap.  Some expensive guys on the 53 this season will likely not be back in 2019.  Do the Jags make a draft pick or picks this year, knowing they will need to groom cheap starters to replace some guys they anticipate to let go after this season?       

Finding a replacement to groom this year for Parnell makes sense, as he has a 2019 cap of $6.0m and no dead money if released after this season. They are rumored to be bringing in mid round OTs.

Also, for the same future cap rationale, it would not surprise me to see them take a DT to groom somewhere in this draft. Jackson and Dareus are on the 2019 books for about $27m, and could save nearly $23m ($11m Jackson and $12m Dareus) if released following the season. My gut says at least one of these guys will be gone after this season to get the cap.

I assume the Jags will use the draft and replace costly vet approach to manage their cap for sustained success, instead of mortgaging the future by manipulating 2019 contract commitments (convert salary to signing bonus and pushing cap to future years).  It will be interesting to watch their strategy with certain picks in the draft.
