Why? It's one of if not the weakest position on the team

My dream would be to draft Ragnow and move Linder back to RG

That being said, if the value is there I wouldn't mind a center if they feel the guy was plug and play, and was of that caliber.  That solves RG with Linder.

A starting caliber RT would be great, too.  Unless it's a C, I just don't know if there's value in getting an interior guy so early.  He'd have to grade really high and project as a high caliber NFL talent.

Just because Linder is a Pro Bowl caliber G that we got in the 3rd, saying we shouldnt draft another before the 3rd just because we got Linder there is a poor argument and not a good way to think.

You misunderstand my reasoning.  Perhaps because I didn't bother to explain it.

I feel there's better value in the first and second other than interior (I'm a BAP guy, which means I expect better players at other positions to be there for us in the first couple rounds and don't expect the BAP to be an interior lineman.)  In rounds three and beyond, you're going to find quality starters (even Pro Bowlers.)  If you'd poll the starters across the league, you'll find as many outside the first two rounds as you do players taken in rounds 1 and 2 on the interior.  It's like many safeties, fullbacks, etc.... it's just where the starting caliber value for the position is.  Could there be some graded in the first and second?  Sure.  What's the tradeoff?  Are you giving up a more premium position player of equal or higher grade?  There's a lot to consider.

Will I be upset if we take one first or second round?  No.  Not if that's where he's graded and turns out to be a special player.  That's the only reason I would consider it.  He'd have to be special to warrant selection over a more premium position of equal talent.

I think we've got a chance to upgrade our roster this season.  I think we can, but if we take interior in the first or second, we could be giving up the chance of getting a backup QB, RT, or LB.  Pickings at those positions will be much thinner and the crop much weaker beyond the second round than interior will.
