I'd say we have the worst situation from a beat writer stand point. We have no insiders and we have no info other than what the teams tells us. Almost every other team have much more available.

I can't think of any stories or signings broken by Kaye off the top of my head.

As I said he's a good guy and a decent twitter follow. Just his style of beat reporting is much more PR based than most. That is probably partly due to how private the Jaguars are.

He hinted about the Rivera injury last year before it was reported by the team and I've seen a few little nuggets come out in his Q&As with fans that were things he picked up around the locker room, practice field or after a presser when speaking one on one with a player or coach.

During camp he's usually got some good takes on the dynamics of camp battles and such that are insightful.

His camp stuff is pretty legit. Maybe I'm unduly harsh on him but I've never read an article he's written and learned something new about the team.
