To me, it's because he's only played two years and his flaws (in my opinion) are coachable.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that a portion of his incompletions are due to poor decision making and risk taking.

His arm is in a class of it's own vs his peers.  That could be weighing very heavily on the score.

Obviously, the assessment of this class is opposite of my own (I think they're all being overrated/overvalued) but I don't do this for a living.  I was really surprised to see them all that high.  I'm not sold that this is some special class.  I think that's just what a lot of folks want to be true for the sake of a good story.


His poor accuracy is only one of my concerns. A greater concern is his inability to sense pressure and complete lack of poise in the pocket reminding me of Blaine Gabbert. Developing a feel for pressure is not something you can really teach. You tend to either have it or you don't, and in this case, we're talking about a guy who runs from ghost pressure and gets happy feet way to easily.
