Caldwell simply said they could carry three if they wanted to. I heard nothing that sounded like "they will carry three." 

I think Lee gets a year on the PS, then another camp (2019)  to show what he's learned. If he's improved enough by then he sticks. If he hasn't, he's just another Brandon Allen and on to the next. 

FWIW - I think he's got a better shot than Allen did, but I don't really expect much besides flashes against scrubs in preseason for the time being.
