For the record, he didnt commit any crimes other than just talking stupid so IMO he shouldnt lose his law licence or ability to practice elsewhere, but he needs to be punished severely for his actions.
Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.
