I went through some bullying growing up. Mostly in middle school when I was barely eleven or twelve years old. And it was mostly from the overgrown "teenagers" that had failed more than once and were damn near eighteen already. Sometimes you have to bow up and stick that chest out and throw some haymakers to get your point across pretty [BLEEP] loud and clear.

Sometimes peace isn't an option. Not every child or person you come across in life is going to have proper home training. Just a fact. Everyone's breaking point, boiling point and threshold for mental or physical pain differs between all of us. But it's not enough to justify killing people that were innocent or didn't play a hand in your bullying or mental demise.

Now personally I've NEVER had a teacher or adult add insult to injury to provoke the bullying even further. Especially in middle school. I still remember two of the coaches there at Twin Lakes Middle. Coach Mitchell and Coach Seaver. They were awesome coaches and people in general. After I got into a fist fight my 7th grade year I had to cool off. Both of those guys talked to me about what happened. They knew it was self defense and that I was a pretty easy going kid. Shortly after that they were getting me to focus a lot more of that aggression towards dodge ball, football, volleyball, archery and baseball. And I think the biggest thing I took away from it all was what Seaver said.

And I think so many kids need to hear this [BLEEP] today. It's JUST school. It's not your LIFE. It's temporary. This doesn't define you. Do the best you can to get by but what happens in middle school or high school won't decide who you are for the rest of your life. All of the anguish and anger you have now will subside and you learn to grow from it.
