Many cancers have been cured with baking soda. Even some oncologists are coming around. A doctor who specializes in late-stage cancers said the first thing he does is put his patients on sodium bicarbonate. My Dad has his book but I don't recall the doc's name.

The main problem is the FDA and AMA. It is illegal to claim that anything but FDA-approved pharmaceuticals can treat, cure or prevent disease. It is illegal for a clinician to claim that scurvy can be cured with limes, though this has been common knowledge for centuries. The thought police are literally killing us by banning treatments that do not generate a profit.
