Mayor of London "couple teams interested"

I'll take that as a "yes."

The league and the C.o.J. all know exactly how wealthy Shad Khan is.  He is free to fund his team-ownership endeavors with money from his other income streams if he desires - and he's allowed to add a stadium in London to the capital of that LLC.  As long as the taxman gets his due, Khan can combine his resources in a myriad of ways.
You're looking for something shady in a treeless pasture under a cloudless sky.

And again. No one ever said that Jaguars LLC was "hurting for revenue" as you suggested.  Lamping has merely pointed out the league averages that the Jags fall short of - and then established goals and proposals to close the gap. It is literally his job to do exactly that.

Should Lamping/Khan have said "the Jags make decent money for a small market team. Let's just stand pat with that." ??

Well put. I think, like you basically said in a early post, that the jag's money and khan's money are not always one in the same. Because he makes a purchase and places it the team's name does not mean the initial funds to make said purchase came out of the coffers of the jaguars.

I appreciate that he draws comparisons between us and the rest of the league in terms of revenue and sets goals to be competitive with them. BUT, we are a young(very important to remember when comparing to other high earning teams.) and are a very small market team(in comparison to some where like Houston/LA or Baltimore who have also received teams in the last 3 decades). This , at least IMO,presents two slight handicaps if we really intend to achieve these goals- History of generations of fans that other small market teams have that will allow them to endure droughts and still maintain successful revenue and the obvious market that a highly populated location provides.

I'm not saying it is impossible and it is commendable that we are aiming high. I would, however, keep portions of what they toss out to the media under wraps because I think a lot of it easily can be interpreted two ways. That is sort of what I was getting at earlier. You don't here the colt owner gloating about his team going to London and I don't think I've have heard the eagles brass mention it and if they did I am sure it has not been as much as ours does. These types of things are what give the media and the conspiracy theorist ammo to write the bs and piece together the puzzles that may or may not exist.
