Agreed. 
I've been critical more often than not, but he took steps last year and seems primed to take a few more now. 
I'm cautiously optimistic we'll be treated to some exciting play-action completions on early downs this season. 
Can't wait to see how Hackett uses ASJ and all those speedy receivers to create mismatches.

I ain't even gonna lie... I was so tired of defending the guy that I had given up last year.
I was basically like "ride him out this year and get ready to draft one"
somewhere in the middle of the season something started clicking... just a lil bit more confidence each game or something... 
he had a near perfect stretch and then ended the season and started the playoffs a lil shaky..... but man... the Pitt and NE games were no accident. Dude CAN be good. This should be the year he is good consistently.

Same system for the 2nd year and added weapons like Moncrief, ASJ, Chark to already budding talents like Cole and Westbrook. Adding Norwell to the OL to bolster our #1 rushing attack.
Cautiously optimistic is the perfect words. But I must admit... it is tough to not be overly optimistic.
