Trade him for what? What team is going to give up a draft pick for said cancer, coming off a mysterious shoulder injury, in his final contract year, who’s already been suspended for week one stemming from last years issues? His value is on this team, at least for this year. Best case scenario is that we hope he has a career year here, signs a fat contract elsewhere, and we get to collect the compensatory pick, which depending on how much he signs his new contract for, can be as high as a 3rd rounder.
