He also had a pathetic workout....

 

I just looked it up.  He ran a 5.3 forty and had a 24" vertical, which is pretty laughable.  That's slower than pretty much most offensive lineman too.

 

He can basically throw lasers with his arm.  

 

When pressured, he made bad throws/bad decisions.

 

He doesn't have the athletic ability to evade pressures. Combine that with his character concerns and there's why he lasted to the third round.
