If Houston does take Jadeveon Clowney with pick # 1,  he should be in a much more favorable situation than in the recently completed season with South Carolina.   Not having Melvin Ingram and/ or Devin Taylor to help take away attention from Clowney in 2013 might have been a major reason why his production dropped considerably.   With J.J. Watt on the Texans Defensive Line,  if Clowney is focused on and off the field,  it could cause long afternoons and evenings for opposing Offensive Coordinators and Offensive Line Coaches.
