So in all likelihood all he had to do was give a carefully chosen SSN or TIN of someone who legally can work but isn't currently working.  There are people in Mexico you can buy that info from.  The e-Verify system is supposed to thwart this.

There are people in Alabama you can get that stuff from. Almost every illegal I see around NWFL has an Alabama license plate, photo ID (not a drivers license usually), & no insurance. Very likely they get their SSNs and any "I-9" paperwork BS to pass the worthless "e-verify" system.

The president of the company I work for is a Republican Trump supporter.
He hires illegal immigrants.
Why? Cheap labor, while they do have to be paid minimum wage at least, over the course of years these guys get minimal raises. Some have worked here 5 years and are making roughly 60 cents more than when they were hired (and many still well under 10/hr). Also, they don't require a lot of time off for weddings, funerals, vacations, etc. This idea that Republicans want illegals gone is silly. R or D, if there's a loophole to save some money, they'll all use it. Illegal workers, tax loopholes, whatever.
