It proves Leonard came into camp MUCH lighter than last season. The game DOES NOT slow down. Players MUST pick up the pace.

As it stands now, I say that Jacobs LOOKS mighty good, but he will have to watch out that he doesn't get lulled into lagging play.

The best way to prevent this is for the coaching staff to step back, see the Jaguars' tempo is SLOWER than acceptable, and begin to push the entire squad to come up to regular season tempo.

What is that going to hurt? Nothing.

Of course the actual tempo of the game does not slow down, but you know full well that's not at all what Leonard and other players mean when they say the game slows down for them after their rookie season. Even though things are flying just as fast, it SEEMS slower to them. Please tell me you're not too ignorant to understand this basic concept.
