LB Jeff Holland has been released by the Broncos.
He is a Trinity Christian guy, who was a number one college prospect. Many were expecting he might be the next great un-drafted pass rush specialist. NFL.com listed him as "EDGE" and provided him a 5.56 draft grade. 5.56 translates to a good chance to become and NFL starter. His speed says 4.79 and he measures as a true tweener (6-2, 249) I don't know??? Trey Marshall was also released by the Broncos. He was a Florida State player at safety. Some of those fans may know him. Just about ANY player claimed off waivers at this point MUST contribute on special teams as a primary reason to be on the 53-man roster. |
